Looks like it has a pivot just in front of the bottom bracket that allows the top tube of the frame to move towards the rear wheel when upwards pressure is applied.

Rigid blows compared to suspension. I had the chance to make some money off of my fork, so I sold it, but I really should have left it on there.

I can't decide if it would look better with matching MTXs or matching FR2350s. Both would look awesome.

The new Deemax graphics are hideous.

Haha, a 6" flange Seismic hub makes an 8" Hayes rotor look so small.

Saddle nose pitch is personal preference. I don't think that pointint the nose up more would be very comfortable. It's the one thing I won't do only for aesthetics.

I can only assume that by "disc montage hole in fork" you mean the disc brake tabs on the fork; also, no I'm not going to remove the disc tabs on my forkk because I don't intend to have it forever, so I'd rather not detract from its resale value by modifying it.

Actually I think I broke even. The Fox weighed 3.2 lbs and the Trailblade weighs either 3.1 or 3.2 lbs, hard to tell on an analog scale. The bike weighs about 25.5 lbs right now. If I keep it, I'll probably switch back to a suspension fork like the new '09 F80 w/ 15QR dropouts and change the cranks to something like Profiles with a ti spindle to help keep the weight down.

If you intend to use your bike for anything aggressive like dirt jumping or DH riding, I'd recommend getting a fork with a 20mm axle. DJ1, DJ2, Gold Label, Argyle, Pike, etc.

No, they didn't put dermal barbells in your hand, they put surgical bolts to help keep the bones in your hand in place so they could set properly.

Piercings don't set off metal detectors in airports. I went through without incident with my 00g plugs and 12g lip ring.

I know it is, but I needed the money I got from selling the Fox. If I keep the bike I'll change it to a suspension fork later.

Like I said, I made $225 off of the Fox, and I barely ride the bike anyway.

Actually it was not called "clunking," it was just mountain biking. This image is a lot newer than most old images of mountain biking; you can clearly see Cunningham roller-cam brakes on the fork and other mountain-specific parts. Clunkers were mainly Schwinn cruisers with big tires, drum brakes, and whatever other heavy-duty parts the riders could find on various other bikes. Also, it was not done on singletrack, it was mostly fire roads, including the famous "Repack" trail, so named because riders would have to repack their hubs after every descent since the grease within them would burn up during the run.

The parts are nice, but they belong on a 6-7" travel FS frame.
